Tropical Hampers started as an idea a few years back when I owned a local retail food business. We did sell a lot of local products but the main focus of the business then was on other areas. My background is in travel & tourism as well as the retail food industry & when travelling the first thing I do is check out the local food! When I moved to this area almost 10 years ago I was amazed at the array (& quality) of the local food & goods produced here & with Tropical Hampers we now have a way of sharing these amazing products! We work with local (Far North Queensland) producers for all of our hampers & gifts - a small local business working with other local businesses!
