Can I custom design a hamper?
Yes, please contact us via the “Connect with Us” link & we can quote you on what you require. As these are not standard hampers next business day dispatch is not available but we would endeavour to dispatch these within three business days if the hamper is designed with products that we have in
other hampers. If you require something currently not in our hamper range, we would advise you on a time frame and do our best to source this product for you.
What are in your hampers?
A full list of products is listed under each hamper description. We only use products made here in tropical FNQ (apart from a couple of non-food items and packaging). There is an amazing range of locally produced products here in FNQ, enough to not need to add anything else!
Do you do bulk and/or corporate orders ?
Yes we do, information is at our “ Shop Corporate & Events” page on the website.
How long after ordering will it take until my hamper will be sent ?
As hampers are made to order, hampers will be dispatched within two business days. With bulk or corporate orders, a time frame will be given at the time of quoting. As a lot of our partners are small local producers with bulk orders we may not be.
What if an item is not available ?
Occasionally an item may be out of stock/out of season, so we would contact you in regards to either a time frame for that item or a replacement item.
How will my hamper be packaged ?
At Tropical Hampers we are more about showcasing our local products & trying to be as sustainable as possible by reducing packaging which is good for the environment & also good for the customer as there is not a lot of additional costs added with excessive packaging. All hamper boxes are Greenmark products (except for the Tropical Gourmet Experience). Made from renewable and all natural materials – the fully compostable materials reduces our plastic waste footprint. For corporate gifts & events, as well as the hamper boxes we also offer the option of gift bags which reduce the packaging cost & are perfect when the products are to be incorporated with branded items or marketing materials.
Can I send a hamper as a gift ?
Yes, at check-out you can choose the option to send as a gift and a gift card will be sent with the hamper with your message.
How will my hamper be delivered ?
Our preferred choice is to send via courier as this is the quickest method to get your hamper to you. If delivery is unable to be sent to a physical address and the only option is a PO Box then the order would be sent via Express Post. We have negotiated rates with a courier service that work out more cost effective than Australia Post, so this is another reason that this is our preferred option.
How long will my hamper take to arrive ?
As we are based in regional Far North Queensland, unfortunately there is no same day/or next day service (other than for local area deliveries).
With our courier service, deliveries generally take 2-3 days to major cities & 5-6 days to regional centres. Once dispatched, tracking information will be forwarded to you. At the moment due to a reduction in domestic flights, there may be some delays.
What happens if my hamper arrives damaged ?
If for some reason your hamper arrives damaged or with breakages, please contact us straight awayto organise replacement items or a refund on the damaged items.
Which methods of payment do you accept ?
We accept Visa, Mastercard & Amex as well as PayPal & AfterPay.
